jQuery

In this workshop we looked at jQuery which is a cross platform javascript library. We used the function .toggleclass where we created a box which when clicked it changed colour, if then clicked again it would change back to the original colour. This is a useful aspect to have learnt, it could be used in a variety of means both to make a website more creatively interesting or simplified. An example being it could help a user to know what they have already viewed etc, their are a range of possibilities.

In continuation with the jQuery and toggleclass I further put it to use in lectures by designing 5 boxes filled with images in which when clicked they then become the main image within the website. This is a very useful technique and could be used on a dating website as a filtering system of looking through potential partners. Below is also a preview video of this technique in use.
